'Tales Of Us' Unique Film Event

We are pleased to announce the details of a very special 

‘Tales Of Us’ cinema event

 – a worldwide screening of the 

'Tales Of Us’ film

 followed immediately by an exclusive 

live performance

 transmitted into cinemas from the magnificent surroundings of the legendary

Air Studios

 in London.

The event 

takes place on 4 March 2014

 in cinemas across 

UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand

Taking inspiration from our latest album, the Tales Of Us film is a 

30-minute journey

through five of the stories featured on the album, namely: 

Stranger, Laurel, Jo, Drew and Annabel

. By interconnecting the films and themes, we hope to take viewers on a unique artistic journey.  Up until now, only sections of the Tales Of Us film have been seen - the beautiful 

Drew

 and 

Annabel

 films - making this an incredible opportunity to see the Tales Of Us film as it was originally intended: up on the cinema screen. Watch the film’s trailer

.  Cinema audiences will then see the Tales Of Us film transition beautifully into a 

live, dramatic theatrical performance

The Tales Of Us film was co-created by 

Alison Goldfrapp

 and director & writer 

Lisa Gunning (Nowhere Boy, Seven Psychopaths, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen)

. The marquee creative team behind the live cinematic event includes 

Executive Producer

,

Catherine Ugwu, MBE

(Executive Producer of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies)

 and critically acclaimed 

set designer Shona Heath (Dior, Valentino, Prada) 

who also created the iconic owl that graced Goldfrapp’s Seventh Tree album artwork.

The Tales Of Us film event precedes our UK tour, starting on 26 March 2014 at the Birmingham Symphony Hall and ending at the Gateshead Sage on 7 April 2014. More all date and ticketing info, click
