For those not in UK (and those who are) watch our tv on internet.

just a small application and because it's through VLC player you can record it too! Apparently.

Download, open, little black box will appear, then a list of channels, type in number you want to watch, voila, it only opens in VLC Player though.

So yeah.....http://rapidshare.com/files/285440524/British_TV.rar

It is just great! I thought "this is too good to be true" even though you know I can watch it regardless , I was watching BBC One on computer and turning around to look at tv "ooh it's soo cool, wow Murder She Wrote on two screens in my living room, who'd have though it!"

There's a slight time delay but it's definitely genuine. I recommend to everyone, now those who want to watch Goldfrapp but they are on brit tv won't have to wait for uploads! We can all be a family :s *a small tear rolls down face*

Thanks a lot!
Now I won't have to go through the trouble of finding a decent UK proxy every weekend.

Rap, it's a media player like Quicktime or Realplayer. You can download it from here:

Works for me on PC, but I can only get maybe a handful of the channels. The rest result in an error message. Also, the screen freezes a lot -- any advice on resolving this?

Ah scheisse. It's not going to work for mac users. Just downloaded it and unless there's another file this .exe file is a no go for macs. (we're allergic to .exe files )

What you watching. I've lived in the US, New Zealand and briefly in Germany and overall (obviously all mentioned above do some great stuff) our TV is best. The big 4 were going down hill due to try to apeal to the mass market ... but digital has saved us all i.e. BBC3/BBC4/Film4/More4 to name a few.

Get your self a hard drive and you never have to watch shit TV ever again. I tape enough each week to only watch good quality television.

er we have a hard drive .. tis true yeah we download stuff from film4 and BBC3/4 .. and we have a pay to view thingy for films and stuff which is generally quite good ...but we have huge holes where we just don't watch the TV at all.. Chrissi plays the piano and I read books and write ... I was just horrified by the utter utter shite on BBC1/2 and ITV I mean it's like the publics mental age has dropped to around 13 or 14 ..if that ...
