That's the one. Apparently the Furs hated the film. It is pretty stupid (girl from the wrong side of the tracks - except it's Molly Ringwald, so she isn't exactly trailer trash - meets rich boy kinda thing), but watchable in that 80s nostalgia way. Annie Potts is good in it as her boss.
Currently listening to The Creatures - "Mad Eyed Screamer". Does she really say "Your balls are freezing in the breeze"? Always wondered that.
I think that is the lyric, yeah. Siouxsie does seem to get a little more... experimental with her Creatures lyrics.

What an album! The song 'Your ex-lover Is Dead' is the most listened to song on my mp3 player, and 'Celebration Guns' is in the top twenty as well. There's a version of that album coming out with every song remixed by guest remixers which I'm looking forward to. Much like SFA and Bloc Party have done in the past.

Hey, it's time for a "Carpy Does Three In A Row" !
Are you sitting comfortably........
Current 93
"The Inmost Light Itself"
from 'All The Pretty Little Horses'
Easily the most scary use of the sound of children playing since I heard the Banshees "Pulled To Bits" - the screams and shouts go right through you and really make for an uneasy listen, even if they're just playing.
Current 93
"All The Pretty Little Horses"
from 'All The Pretty Little Horses'
Nick Cave gently singing the old English folk standard.
Almost an acoustic acid-lullaby and one of the most gentle things I've ever heard him do.
Current 93
"Patripassian"
from 'All The Pretty Little Horses'
Nick Cave reading a passage from from Blaise Pasual's "Pensées" backed by just heavily treated church choirs and the softest of washes. Utterly mesmerising - his voice always has that gravitas to it.

Aw. You can't beat a bit of Bjork, bless her puffin-mad heart, and to have the keyboard majesty of HÖH, Iceland's chief Pagan, on there too makes for a top little track......

Nine Inch Nails
"Me, I'm Not"
Oooooooh, that's a bit nice !
A slow groove of a track, all held back and imminent until the end where he starts to let filters go and things get to fire off.
Another intentional 320k leak left on a memory card in a washroom, it seems, complete with more highly coded links to viral marketing pages.
I was trying very hard not to get my hopes up for this album but so far it's looking like a cracker........
Me want new NIN! Me want new NIN!
Me also want new Manson, Combichrist, Within Temptation and Birthday Massacre!

I want the new Garbage/Shirley Manson solo, Bjork, Smashing Pumpkins, NIN.. and Goldfrapp (hopefully soon!)
Oh yeah! The few tracks I have from Year Zero rock so hard! The new WT album rocks too.. I'm not really feeling the new single from them, but some of the other tracks sound pretty good.
So.. what am I listening to? "I Need Some Fine Wine and You, You Need to Be Nicer" by The Cardigans, & "My Violent Heart" - NIN!
Oh damn you! I forgot about the new Pumpkins!

Me want new NIN! Me want new NIN!
Some of the stunts they're pulling for this one are unreal.
On two of the memory card files found have been mp3's of what sounds like white noise BUT when put through a spectral analyser one was an image of an arm and the other a USA phone number......
Keep an eye on the first post here for news (http://www.echoingthesound.org/phpbbx/viewtopic.php?t=20265&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0)

PM answered already, as you know :p
People wanting to hear some of the Viral Marketing stuff hidden on fake websites as part of the NIN ARG (Actual Reality Game) could do worse than listen to this (http://anotherversionofthetruth.com/audio/ballgameOver.mp3) and this (http://resync.net/%7Ecut/0/uswiretap-20070219.mp3) to get a feel for the tone of things. Younger listeners should note it's some gritty stuff so play nice, ok ?
