I don't think its ever been not cool to like Fleetwood Mac. Its something to do with Stevie Nicks probably being the coolest person ever.
Trying to be like Fleetwood Mac is very uncool though, hence the Coors. The Mac, and in particular, The Nicks, is something you have to respect.

You're the first here, in this forum, who mentions SERGE GAINSBOURG.
Lemon Incest is not, for my part, the best from him, (the instrumentation is really too much old-fashioned), but that's a good taste.
I especially love Variations sur Marilou, about masturbation, (the Gainsbourg's texts are not very far from some Rimabud's metaphores); with references of Alice's Carroll. The entire album "L'homme à tête de chou" is brought everywhere i'm going. What are the others songs you may like from that artist?

Nathan Fake - Drowning In A Sea Of Love
You see Carpy? When it goes on THE LIST it does get bought eventually!
Trembler mini-review: I do like it a lot but as for it being some kind of watershed in electronica; I'm not really sure, there's some lovely sounds there and all of it seems to be in part of some wide melody, building up to something, which is great because all too often in 'folktronica' these ethereal noises seem to just contribute to the field of a piece rather than its more structured parts, but I feel that the drum programming on a lot of the tracks could have been a lot more imaginative though. I've only listened to it through once though. I'll go for a jog with it on my mp3 player later, and we'll see how I feel about it then.

Thought it might be a pointless exercise but as it was free i downloaded it (www.sneakerpimps.de) ....and i really like!! I think they are amazing arrangers/producers and as sometimes Chris' voice is a bit grating it's no surprise i like it.
Can't wait till they release their new female vocaled SN album. I've heard some IAMX/Chris Corner songs done by Sue Denim of Robots in Disguise and his songs really lend themselves to female vocals (You're the Conversation on the Les Chevaliers Du Ciel soundtrack is amazing). Apparently they have recorded an album with one singer but have decided to get a different one to tour it :-/.

I always wanted one for the "Coma Divine" set - that (especially the full two disc version) was utter brilliance somehow recorded complete with full atmosphere intact.

Yes, I keep looking at that album when I have some cash, but never seem to get round to buying it. Might put it on the Christmas list this year...

I have the single CD version:-
1. Bornlivedieintro (1:23)
2. Signify (5:22)
3. Waiting (phase one) (4:32)
4. Waiting (phase two) (5:28)
5. The sky moves sideways (12:38)
6. Dislocated day (6:37)
7. The sleep of no dreaming (5:18)
8. Moonloop (11:40)
On the 2CD version "Up The Downstair", "The Moon Touches Your Shoulder", "Always Never" and "IS...NOT" appear here.
9. Radioactive toy (15:26)
10. Not beautiful anymore (9:43)
It'll have to be a while, as I've spent plenty recently pre-ordering stuff (Porcupine Tree DVD plus new Delerium and Enigma albums). Poor now, and with nothing to show for it for a few weeks.
Me and Sally have been saying that for years.
although I still think Trash is a pretentious shitey club
David Bowie - all the pretty things are going to hell
...watching Stigmata inspired me to listen to this..
I am listening to P:ano - and TREM ! I think you would like their album Brigadoon. If you want it, I'll send it your way.
