If I was going to choose a 'go-faster' tune I guess the first one to spring to mind would be Way Out Wests 'Domination (Bonkers Break Beat Mix)' - a brilliant hang-on-here-we-go CHEWN!

It will surface on here shortly (;)) but I just need to sort a couple of other things first.
Imagine it as vocals like on some of the moodier Orbital tracks, but on a backing far more fitted to Tricky. No actual words used but more the etheriel sounds that the DMG does so well - little sighs, held notes and the like all overlayed and treated.

radio soulwax and 2many dj's are doing a set near me on 14th april-can't wait! tickets are £16 quid though! it'l be worth it, i saw them in september and they did the most incredible set; it was heaven
You have to go, take it they'll be at the medicine bar? saw them there back in Nov (wish I was still at brum uni so much!) Would've gone to the one on the 14th but none of my mates are there it being good friday etc! £16 is worth it...we paid £20 on the door! Worth it...got back stage etc. back to the tourbus..but then I grabbed my mate and ran before I had to put any cock in my mouth haha!
That CD was really good. I want the proper version of the Erol Alkan Glam Racket mix of 'Do You Want To' for my own uses though. I've only seen it on the Rough Trade compilation, but I don't want to spend all that money though.
I've got it in MP3 if you want it?
I'm not listening to anything, about to watch L word last episode *boo hoo*

...bloody wierd - not what i expected.
It also iritates me as Karin has an amazing voice and it's so underused on the record.
To be honest I prefer Honey is Cool - Early Morning Are You Working. Just wish i could get a copy of the album - have only managed to find half the tracks.
If anybody could find this in SWEDEN I would be very grateful! (YES SIR extended CDR grateful) ;)
dashboard Confessional - Ender Will Save Us All
Luscious Jackson - Naked Eye
I forgot how good this one was. There's one particularly good mix of that but I'll be jiggered if I can remember the name of it. Gets played in the background of 'Mystery Men' at one point.....
..............Wings - 'Band On The Run'........

That's where I'm lucky hearing it as my first Knife album - I love the oddness of it and how wonderfully sparse it is most of the time. I love the way her voice pings off at tangents too.
In what way (tough question, I know) is the prev stuff different ?
Maybe The Propellerheads or Howie B Mixes

Nope - just excavated the single from the bottom of three crates of CDs :o. It's the wobbly sounding left-ear-then-right-ear 'Tony's Magic Mix'.

Honey is Cool was a guitar based indie rock band (well as straight as Sweds can be - i.e, v. smooth but v. rough). Very song based.
My main prob is most Swedish sites are in swedish (and have no english version) so i might be ther to buy but i can't do it..
It's a good offer though. How much do you reckon the official Yes Sir Extended - CDR promo would go for on ebay?

I think Carp was talking about the previous Knife album? I've heard bits of it and it sounds very 80's synth pop. Was Karin in Honey is Cool as well?
Hairy Trees
I LOVE THIS SONG! One of my faves from Black Cherry... I love the dreamy sounds, and the sexy seductive voice of Ms. Alison! The song always makes me imagine someone running through some sort of magical forest and stuff! HAHA!

I'm still being gobsmacked (love that phrase) by the amazing new album "Home" by Dutch band The Gathering. I loved it on first listen and each play is dragging me in all the more.
I'd still quite happily say that Anneke van Giersbergen, the lead singer, has one of my top five female voices of all time.
That's very true and also gives me an excuse to post her picture yet again.. :D
