thing is that song is NOTHING on record...the first time I heard it i randomly walked into their live set as it was starting and walked to the front and they started with the whole "Isobel" bit and then went into Opposite ends...it was so intense and wonderful, I just loved them from that moment on...

I've just 'got' this. I've figured that with BE you have to start early, then work forwards. I made the mistake of buying this when it came out early last year without owning any of his previous stuff and didn't understand it straight away. Now I have his back catalogue it all makes sense.

I'm guessing either:-

a) You've got a knackered player

or

b) You didn't check the ID3 tag before you slapped it on there.

Check and edit that and it'll be fine. Let me know if you need an app to do this !

Actually, there`s quite a few incorrect ID3 tags on here. "Ouija Board, Ouija Board" by Morrissey is listed as "You Should Always Keep In Touch With Your Friends" by The Wedding Present. I don`t even know why Ouija Board is on here, I don`t like it that much. Thanks Carp!

:D Sisters Of Mercy - "Flood II" :D at least THAT has the right tag

She was all dancing and always moving and sometimes I just thought "DON'T FORGET THE BABY!!!" :D :D

(now I must listen to theGathering  )

theGathering - Eléanor

Wow !! I love "Eléanor" - it's so dramatic !!!!

I love that tattoo on her arm in the pic - gorgeous little thing ! When I saw them last it must have been a few months before you as it was the same tour but she wasn't showing at that point.

I've seen them three times now and just amazing each time - can't wait for the new album later this year, especially as they've promised more guitar and it's their first with Majorlein Kooijman on bass.

I'm off to bed in a mo but I think the mammoth "How to Measure A Planet?" track will see me into sleep ! 28 glorious minutes - yum !

Yes, I'm really excited about this year: new album(in Hans own words: "Nothing more then the best Gathering album ever" :D ) and tour! (and that applies for a few more bands, another one I can't wait to see again is Muse).

Good night then :) excellent song choice! I'm going too.. just finishing listening to Sand & Mercury ... hhhhhmmm :) ....

Surely you lot have listened to SOMETHING since last night ? ;)

I'm on "Eruption" from the album "Programmed"

It's by Carl Craigs "anti-jazz" project, Innerzone Orchestra.

It's former Sun Ra sideman Francisco Mora, pianist Craig Taborn, violinist Michael Smith and bassists Tassili Bond, Paul Randolph and Rodney Whitiker joining Craig and Richie "Plastikman" Hawtin.

This is some deeeeeeep shit !
