Kate Bush doing a cuckoo impression and singing about washing machines (although "fishes between the legs etc.." make you think she on about other things). She is barking but lovely barking!!!
Ariels:
I like it, but i find it hard to be blown away. Kate used to sound quite cutting edge but now she so "Kate Bush" she just sounds like Kate Bush (if that makes sense). This album could have been released 2 years after Sensual World it's still from that time - which may not be a bad thing.
Still you don't get Rolf Harris, singing a duet with a song bird and songs about Pi very often.

I`d forgotten I had Dazzle Ships actually - it IS a great album, although "Architecture And Morality" is their pinnacle I think, despite the horrible blue cover. Fave track on Dazzle Ships has to be "Genetic Engineering".

Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous.
This album shoul have been huge in this country. I wish it didn't have that song 'I Never' on it though, it absolutely ruins the album in its shitness.
Now I'm listening to:
McAlmont and Butler - The Sound of McAlmont and Butler
i like "I Never" took me a while to get into it though
I now LOVE "a man-me-then jim" now also

I just think its badly-judged. When you write a song that saccharin it has to be very good to get away with it. Its annoying because the fours ongs before it are so, so good. 'Does He Love You?' is my favourite, it has me singing along at the top of my voice every time (just changing the 'he's' for 'she's'!)
