Sort of, queeny; they are well produced, and I admire the fact that they are determined to not curse up a storm on their songs.
Still I get the feeling that if they took a different turn they could have been made into a boy band. I can do a wicked 'N'Sync'-like parody of 'One Step Closer' with coreographed hand movements, dance steps and a heartfelt 'please, please, shut up when I'm talking to yoooouuuu!'
I kid because I love.

He was interviewed by Stuart Manconie on BBC 6 Music's Freakzone yesterday. It should be on stream all week. That show is fantastic.
Back in my AM 820 days, my friend and fellow dj-for-a-moment Greg Grotius had a best-of LP set by Be-Bop Deluxe. 'Sleep That Burns' got a bit of spin.
As for Peter Hammill; they played 'Medieval' by him on last night's show, stunning piece of accapella Cold War protest.

Your musical knowledge (and indeed, taste also) is perhaps the most varied on this board second only to my own :D
I too don't really own all that I hear or indeed mention, despite having a CD collection of 600+. And anyone who listens to Peter Hammill deserves high praise. We do have a high collective IQ, but should we really design a Music Quotient scale perhaps?
I'm guessing that the majority of the people on this have probably been keeping their ears open for new or good music since the days they very ickle. Which is the major difference between us and the vast majority of the chart buying masses who listen with their eyes instead.

Thought you'd like/have it! ;)
Actually form the The Random - Gary Numan tribute album. Probabaly the most 'random' collection of covers ever released! I've slimmed it down to 10 and it's now playable! :)
It's one of the best tracks on it!
doing the 'ipod shuffle tonght'

No we don't, only crap music journalists do that. They coined the phrase and they're the one's who use it all the time. Basically a catch all term for any form of music not sung in English, or with a beat that isn't 4/4.
Now...
Faltriqueira - Muineira Redonda
Blooming merveilleux. Close female harmony type stuff. A breath of fresh air.
From a double album called "Nu Europe" - best of new roots music. Got it the other week from Play for all of £3.99.
